The kiddos in grades Pre-K through 2nd grade, embarked on a spooky station rotation set up by the teachers. Students tried their luck at Bingo, made a craft, colored, read Halloween and fall books, used Legos and Mega Blocks to build, created a haunted house with candy corn pumpkins and toothpicks, and used slime! The slime was a big hit!

Last night was a fantastic evening filled with fun at the HS Open House and Trivia Night! Teams of teachers, parents, and students came together for some friendly competition in trivia rounds. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the night memorable! Your participation truly made it special!

Ms. Elsa joined the 4th grade to share the story of the Three Sisters, a central part of their Haudenosaunee unit! Students learned about the unique relationship between corn, beans, and squash and the cultural significance of these plants in Haudenosaunee traditions.

Today's Trunk or Treat is moving indoors due to rain! 🌧️🎃 Join us from 4:00-5:00 pm for a spook-tacular time. Enter through the front doors to enjoy eerie fun, games, and haunting surprises, then exit through the bus doors. 🕸️👻 It’s going to be a fang-tastic event.🦇💀 We can't wait to see you!

The 8th-grade Makerspace students took on a "Survival Sewing" challenge, diving into both hand-sewing and machine sewing skills to create some impressive projects! They started by upcycling old T-shirts into eco-friendly shopping bags, then designed and crafted their own unique pillows. They even tackled reading commercial patterns to sew cozy flannel pajama bottoms. This unit was a hands-on adventure in creativity, practical skills, and resourcefulness!

Still plenty of time to hit up the #CleatsOutForAvery Charity Bake Sale! All proceeds benefit Avery's Little Army - raising money and awareness for pediatric cancer!

There have been some changes to the schedule for this final week of elementary soccer.
Wednesday is no longer a game in Johnsburg. It will now be a home game against Newcomb.
The game schedule is now Tuesday 10/22 at Lake Pleasant and Wednesday 10/23 in Indian Lake. Both games will start at 4. Thank you!

The NHS and NJHS are quickly putting together a charity bake sale to raise money for the Avery's Little Army Foundation. The bake sale will take place on next Tuesday, October 22nd during the Girls Varsity and Girls Modified home games.
If you are willing to donate homemade baked goods for this charity event, we would be truly grateful for your support. All proceeds will go to Avery’s Little Army Foundation, which seeks to advance pediatric brain and other cancer research through funding, provide support and assistance to families battling pediatric cancer, and promote activities to raise awareness.
Thank you in advance for your support. We hope that you will also consider attending the game to cheer on our Lady Orange soccer teams (and perhaps enjoy some delicious treats as well).
