From Mrs. Bureau:
It’s not just flowers and vegetables…so far, two song sparrows have raised their young in the garden!
The middle schoolers have been doing a fantastic job putting the garden to bed this fall. We are taking down the fencing this Fall and will be replacing some posts and reinstalling the fencing in the spring because we are adding over 128 square feet of new vegetable beds.
Middle schoolers will start working on getting the hydroponic system in the cafeteria going for fresh lettuce…coming to your school lunch soon.

How does eWallet work?
The eWallet experience has been upgraded! Once a child’s eWallet is created, it carries over each year and stays in their Scholastic account, so they can use the same eWallet at future Fairs.
Families start from your school’s Book Fair homepage—available three weeks before your Fair begins—to set up an eWallet for each child. If their child already has an eWallet from a previous Fair, they can simply sign in to their Scholastic account to view their balance and manage funds.
Funds are available immediately. Families can add funds, create an eWallet for another child, invite friends and family to contribute, and more—all from their account.
If you’re interested, you can this QR code to set up an ewallet for your child. Checks and cash are also accepted.

🍎🎃 Fall Fun at It’s About Thyme! 🎃🍎
Our PreK–2nd grade students had a picture-perfect fall day at It’s About Thyme Farm! 🍂🧡
Students enjoyed getting outside, soaking up the beautiful fall weather, and picking their very own apples and pumpkins! 🍎🎃 From choosing the perfect pumpkin to searching for delicious apples, there were plenty of smiles, excitement, and fall memories made along the way.
It was the perfect way to celebrate the season—and a pretty great day to get out of the classroom, too! 🍁
Want to see some of the fun for yourself? Check out the video here! 👇🎥 https://youtu.be/N97a_KI5Yso
A big thank-you to It’s About Thyme for welcoming our youngest students and helping make their fall field trip so much fun! 🧡
Nothing says fall quite like pumpkins, apples, and happy kids! 🎃🍎

✏️🎨 **Tech-Free Tuesday Challenge!**
Our 6th & 7th graders put their communication skills to the test this morning during Advisory! 🙌
Students took on a **drawing challenge** where one partner had to give clear, detailed directions while the other tried to recreate the picture—without either partner being able to see the other’s drawing! 👀🖼️
The challenge? **Clear communication, careful listening, and a LOT of patience!** 😂
It was a fun and challenging way to kick off the day while practicing an important skill: sometimes the best way to get your message across is to slow down, be specific, and make sure the other person understands.
Way to take on the challenge, 6th & 7th grade! 🧡🖤
