Last Friday, we had the pleasure of celebrating some very special members of our Orange Nation — our grandparents and special loved ones! 🧡
Our school was filled with smiles, hugs, laughter, and special moments as students got to share a little piece of their school day with the people who mean so much to them.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. We are so grateful for the love, support, and wisdom our grandparents and special family members bring to our students and our school community!

Wild School Wednesdays at ILCS 🌿
Pk-2 students stepped outside for our first Wild Wednesday. Each week we will explore, observe, investigate, create, and connect with the natural world that we are so fortunate to have around us. This week was a perfect time to make natural color wheels. We found leaves, flowers, feathers, pinecones, rocks, bark, berries, and more.

After learning about the courage and bravery shown by so many, students had the opportunity to talk about their own heroes and the special people who inspire them. ❤️
