Indian Lake students recently had the opportunity to partner with the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) to stock the Indian River with rainbow and brown trout. Students participated in a hands-on “bucket brigade,” carefully transporting the fish from the stocking truck to the river. This experience provided a meaningful way for students to contribute to local conservation efforts while actively engaging in stewardship of their natural environment. It also tied directly into our Character Education theme for the month of April—Responsibility—by giving students a real-world opportunity to demonstrate care, accountability, and respect for their community and natural resources.
ILCS Trap Shoot — Congratulations to Abigail Hall on an outstanding achievement, shooting her first 50 straight! This is a fantastic milestone that reflects your focus, skill, and dedication. Well done!
