ILCS Elementary students headed to Elderwood nursing home for our annual spring visit and community service project. Students took turns planting flowers, drawing pictures, decorating windows, and creating chalk art to bring smiles to our special friends at the nursing home. The visit ended with a concert led by Mr. Dora. Thank you to It’s About Thyme Farm for the flower donation and to Mrs. Walker and Elderwood for organizing a special afternoon.

Any high school student who requires bus transportation home at 12:30 p.m. following a Regents exam must sign up in the Main Office. Additionally, students who plan to stay for lunch before going home must also sign up in the Main Office.

🎵 Middle School Digital Citizenship Final Project Spotlight 🎵
This semester, our Middle School Digital Citizenship students completed a Choice Board Final Project designed to showcase what they learned throughout the course. Students had the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding in creative and meaningful ways, and we were incredibly impressed by the quality, effort, and originality of their work.
While every project was well done, one stood out for its creativity and unique approach. Fynn Weaver collaborated with Mr. Jason Dora to create a cover version of the popular Green Day song Basket Case. By combining music, technology, and digital creativity, Fynn transformed his learning into a project that truly reflected his passion and talents.
The originality of this project, along with Fynn's dedication and enthusiasm, made it a memorable example of the incredible work our students are capable of producing.
A special thank you to Mr. Dora for his support and collaboration on this project.
Please enjoy Fynn's performance and join us in celebrating his outstanding work! 🎸🎤👏
