☁️ Even with a few clouds overhead, our 8th graders made the most of their hiking trip to Bald Mountain with Mrs. Hoag! They showed great spirit, teamwork, and perseverance on the trail. It was a memorable day full of fresh air, laughter, and scenic views at the summit. Way to go, Class of 2029! 🥾🌲 #ILCSAdventures #BaldMountainHike #Classof2029

During Mrs. Wolfe's 4th Quarter Makerspace, the Purple Team middle schoolers joined forces with the 1st graders for a monstrously fun project! Earlier this quarter, the middle schoolers met with their younger buddies and told them they were doing a “research project” on monsters. The 1st graders were thrilled to help—they designed their very own monsters on paper, complete with likes, dislikes, and plenty of creative details.
After that first meeting, the middle schoolers got to work—sewing, crafting, and gluing to bring those imaginative monsters to life!
This morning, the fun continued with a Monster Breakfast celebration. The 1st graders were surprised and delighted to meet their brand-new monster stuffies, and everyone enjoyed treats while watching Monsters, Inc. together.
This is just one of the many magical things that happen in our Pre-K through 12th grade building!

As part of our Heritage Week celebration, elementary students from Indian Lake Central School visited friends at Elderwood Nursing Home for a special community service project.
The children painted windows, decorated the sidewalks with chalk, made drawings for the residents, and—everyone’s favorite—planted flowers!
To wrap up the visit, the students sang songs from their spring concert and a Flag Day song under the direction of Mr. Dora.
A heartfelt thank-you to It's About Thyme Farm for the generous flower donation!
