A big shoutout to the Red Team for putting our school garden to bed for winter! They rolled up their sleeves, laid down weed barrier fabric, and got the beds prepped for a cozy rest until spring. Thank you, Red Team, for all your hard work in keeping our garden growing strong! 🌱❤️

In celebration of World Kindness Day, the Purple Team created kindness bookmarks to distribute to each elementary student at ILCS. Kindness is contagious! How will you spread it? Happy World Kindness Day! 💜

The kiddos in grades Pre-K through 2nd grade, embarked on a spooky station rotation set up by the teachers. Students tried their luck at Bingo, made a craft, colored, read Halloween and fall books, used Legos and Mega Blocks to build, created a haunted house with candy corn pumpkins and toothpicks, and used slime! The slime was a big hit!

Last night was a fantastic evening filled with fun at the HS Open House and Trivia Night! Teams of teachers, parents, and students came together for some friendly competition in trivia rounds. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the night memorable! Your participation truly made it special!

Ms. Elsa joined the 4th grade to share the story of the Three Sisters, a central part of their Haudenosaunee unit! Students learned about the unique relationship between corn, beans, and squash and the cultural significance of these plants in Haudenosaunee traditions.

Today's Trunk or Treat is moving indoors due to rain! 🌧️🎃 Join us from 4:00-5:00 pm for a spook-tacular time. Enter through the front doors to enjoy eerie fun, games, and haunting surprises, then exit through the bus doors. 🕸️👻 It’s going to be a fang-tastic event.🦇💀 We can't wait to see you!

The 8th-grade Makerspace students took on a "Survival Sewing" challenge, diving into both hand-sewing and machine sewing skills to create some impressive projects! They started by upcycling old T-shirts into eco-friendly shopping bags, then designed and crafted their own unique pillows. They even tackled reading commercial patterns to sew cozy flannel pajama bottoms. This unit was a hands-on adventure in creativity, practical skills, and resourcefulness!

It's Spirit Week! 🎉 Middle and High Schoolers, get ready for Rhyme without Reason Day on Tuesday! Grab a partner and come up with the wackiest rhyming outfits you can think of. Think "Gold Pro" meets "Let it Go!" How silly can you go? Meanwhile, Elementary Students, gear up for Hat Day tomorrow—bring your wildest, spookiest, or silliest hat and join the fun! 🎃👻
