Congratulations to the Purple Team led by Mrs. Wolfe for being the 1st Quarter Color Team Competition Champions! Congratulations to the Red Team led by Ms. Stephan for being the 1st Quarter academic All-Stars ✨

ILCS celebrated the Middle & High School students who achieved high honor roll and honor roll for the first quarter at an assembly this morning! Congratulations to all of the students! Keep up your hard work.

The kinders have so much to be grateful for. We’re grateful for our fifth grade friends that helped us with a tricky Olaf craft. Layla did a wonderful job being the “teacher” and reading a sight word book to her peers. Lastly, our friend Grayson is five! Happy Birthday Grayson!

Middle schoolers have been working with Mrs. Bureau this fall to learn about preserving food from the school garden. The Blue Team learned about pickling, making bread and butter pickles, and the Red Team learned about processing apples to make applesauce and fermenting vinegar. The Purple Team learned about fermenting to make sauerkraut. Here, The Purple Team, shredded cabbage, massaged the cabbage to break it up and release liquid and then packed in jars to ferment. We hope the bacteria works to produce lactic acid to sour the cabbage in the next couple of weeks.

The festive spirit is spreading like magic at ILCS as high school students joyfully deck the halls with their dazzling door decorations competition. The middle school students eagerly await their turn, set to kick off this Friday! Let the holiday cheer begin!

Do you have what it takes?

Get ready Orange Nation! It's game time!

Gratitude changes everything! ❤️

First Home Girl's Varsity Basketball Game of the 2023-2024 Season!

The kindergarten kids have been so busy with a trip to Up Yonda and a visit to Ms. Susan and Ms. Jen. We are happy to see snow and can’t wait to build a snowman together!

Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to our ILCS family near and far 🦃🍁🧡🖤

Thank you!

First grade read the story Balloons Over Broadway about the inventor of the famous Macy’s Parade balloons.
They practiced their doubles addition facts to create a cityscape to represent New York City and designed their own parade balloons.

Here's a photo from our Intro to STEM class, where we're constructing a butterfly enclosure for the garden. We repurposed extra screens donated from our window project, creating an interactive space for students to closely study the life cycle of butterflies.

We were so busy enjoying the NHS Gratitude Spirit Week that we forgot to take pictures! We were lucky enough to receive a few today for twin day! Thank you Mrs. Hoag and NHS for organizing such a fun week!

In honor of this month's Character Education focus on Gratitude, ILCS Middle School color teams organized a Can Drive Competition to support the Hamilton & Warren Counties Community Action. The students generously contributed a total of 181 items to our local food pantry. Kudos to the Red Team for emerging as the competition winners! This event not only showcased the spirit of giving but also instilled lessons of compassion and gratitude among all middle schoolers!
