Dear ILCS Families, We are excited to share that Family Reading Night has been rescheduled to Monday, March 9th from 4:30–7:00 PM. We’re looking forward to a “Wild About Reading” night of reading fun, activities, and an exciting animal show. We hope you and your family can join us for this fun evening! 📚🐾 There will be no elementary basketball practice on Monday afternoon.

Dear Parents and Guardians, We want to make you aware that there is currently a significant amount of illness circulating throughout our building. We are continuing to take extra precautions by thoroughly disinfecting classrooms and common areas in an effort to keep our school community as healthy as possible. If your child is experiencing any symptoms of illness, we kindly ask that you please keep them home tomorrow. This helps limit the spread of illness and protects other students and staff. Thank you for your cooperation and support as we work together to keep everyone safe and healthy.

At the end of each sports season, the NYSPHSAA honors those teams and individuals who excel in the classroom. Those student-athletes, teams, and schools work very hard throughout the year and deserve to be recognized for their academic success. To receive Scholar-Athlete team recognition with a certificate, the team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.00. Both Orange varsity basketball teams met the criteria to be recognized this past fall. Our Indian Lake individual scholar-athletes for this past basketball season were Morgan Scofield and Brendan Husson. Congratulations and keep up the hard work, athletes!
