The Red Team teamed up with Mrs. Bureau to tend the hydroponic garden in the cafeteria! Our middle school students play a hands-on role in growing fresh lettuce for ILCS lunches, bringing farm-to-table to a whole new level. 🌱🥗
Mrs. O’Meara’s 7th grade Makerspace took a flavorful journey through Southeast Asia, diving into the rich culinary traditions of Thai cuisine! Students worked together to prepare Thai chicken curry, Thai stir-fried green beans, and a sweet treat—pineapple caramel over ice cream, generously supplied by Mrs. O’Meara.
Along the way, they encountered bold new flavors, including Thai chili paste, creamy coconut milk, and savory fish sauce, expanding their palates and appreciation for international cuisine. From balancing sweet and spicy to discovering the depth of umami, this hands-on experience was both educational and delicious!

Sharing for our friends at HFM Prevention: Trailblazers are going to the Adirondack Museum on Blue Mountain Lake on Thursday, April 17th. Students will have a unique opportunity to explore the museum and see many of the inner workings from installing new exhibitions, and exploring the museum vaults, to following facilities around for a tour of daily operations.

History came to life in Mrs. Pierson's 4th grade classroom as students stepped back in time with soldiers from Fort Ti! They got a hands-on look at the daily life of a Continental Soldier, discovering the challenges, skills, and stories of those who fought for freedom.
