On Friday, September 22nd local illustrator Cheryl Bielle visited ILCS to read her book "The Boy Who Never Threw Anything Out". Students in grades K-4 enjoyed listening to the story & learning about the illustrations and art! Thank you Cheryl for bringing this book to life in the ILCS library!

The Pre-Calc class recently took measurements using handheld GPS units to gather data in their investigation into the change in elevation per mile. We were able to compare some our measurements to a topographical map. Students did a great job of putting their knowledge of function rules to use!

The kinder bugs are working hard to learn letters and letter sounds. We also have two classroom pets! It was so exciting seeing our caterpillars turn into the next stage, chrysalis.
