Abigail Hall is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2026. Abby is a remarkable young lady.To describe her in a few words: bright, driven, mature, hardworking, kind, caring, honest, studious and all -round amazing kid. She is academically motivated, she is involved in athletics and has engaged in several extracurricular and volunteer activities both in school and in the community. Abby may not always be the loudest person in the room but she certainly gets her point across and will stick up for anyone she feels is being wronged. She leads by example and by doing. She is extremely hard working. She can be counted on for handing in quality work that is neat and on time. Abby is organized, methodical and has excellent time management skills. She is passionate about all that she does. She will never settle; she strives for excellence in all that she does. She is insightful and can rise to any challenge put before her both in the classroom and on the ball field. Abby is just one of those students that make educators realize why we do this job day in and day out. There will be a huge void in Indian Lake Central School when Abby graduates.
Abby is not only a good student but an active member of the school community and the Indian Lake community. She is a member of Student Council (President), National Honor Society , Big Buddies Student Mentoring program, Travel Club, Marching Band, Elementary Student Classroom Assistant, Trap Team and is a Varsity athlete playing both Soccer (Captain), Basketball (Captain) and Softball all 4 years of high school. Some of the community service activities she has participated in are: Volunteer at the Annual Red Cross Blood Drive, Moose Festival, Community Pride Day, Coaches vs. Cancer, Santa’s Helpers, Elementary Open House, Elementary Study Club Volunteer and Jazz Band (Stand Up for Ukraine Benefit concert). She always has her hand up to volunteer for this or that. She has a great sense of humor and comes to school each and every day prepared to work her hardest.
Abby will be attending SUNY Potsdam in the fall for Elementary Education.
