Summer Program

Last week’s theme was the Wild West, and we had a fun-filled adventure from start to finish! We kicked things off by getting creative and crafty—making our very own cacti and horse feed snacks. We also played soccer to burn off some energy.

On Tuesday, we enjoyed a sunny beach day where campers participated in center-based activities including swimming, sandcastle building, and playing on the playground.

Wednesday was all about getting our hands dirty in the garden with Ms. Elsa as we helped care for the flowers. We also got a head start on building our own race cars, which we’ll be painting this coming week. Campers also got to choose between making a horse-themed craft or designing their own Wild West hat.

We wrapped up the week with a fantastic trip to Fun Spot! Everyone had a blast mini golfing, riding go-karts, rollerblading, exploring the indoor playground, and playing games in the arcade. To top off a hot and exciting day, we cooled down with a sweet treat from Martha’s Ice Cream.

It was a week full of creativity, exploration, and Wild West fun!

As we enter our final week of the Summer Recreation Program, we’re excited to explore our new theme: Weather! From sunshine to storms, we’ll be learning all about the different types of weather through fun activities, crafts, and games.

This week will be filled with exciting hands-on projects and themed outdoor play (as long as the real weather cooperates!). It’s our last week together, and we’re ready to make it a memorable one with lots of learning, laughter, and celebration.

Let’s make the most of our final days of summer fun!
