As part of Heritage Week, Trish Markey from the Wildlife Institute of Eastern New York provided our students with a very interesting presentation all about the Birds of Prey in our area. Students learned a lot of interesting facts about the birds and how to protect our wildlife. Students also had the chance to see several real birds in the gym, with an owl that took flight across the gym. A video of the flight and a "hoot" from the owl are included along with several close ups of the birds!
