Would You Like to Contribute to this Project?
The research for this site has yielded at least as many questions as answers (not an unusual occurence in historical research.) Sometimes our various sources are in agreement, often they are not. More intriguing are the many gaps in the records and the tantalizing hints of stories that have not yet been told.
This web site was designed to hold considerably more material than we have been able to publish here. If you have one of the missing bits (an image, story, anecdote, reference...anything goes) and would be interested in contributing it to the project please get in touch with us. We'll gladly handle any necessary digitization (scanning, transcription, etc.) and will try to to find a place to plug the results into the site.
We will be making an organized effort to collect additional material in the fall. In the meantime, please contact Michael J. Miller or David Snide at the Indian Lake Central School (518-648-5024) if you'd like to discuss this or any other aspect of the project.
